Supercar clubs - can they work?

I'm currently with P1 after looking at a few late last year.
For me it was all about customer care and the cars on offer. Personally I couldn't be bothered with the lower end cars - I haven't joined so that I can drive an M3 or Elise - I've joined so that I can drive the top range cars. The only issue for me has been the mileage limitations - with living an 80mile round trip from where I pick the cars up from it can become difficult to manage the miles that I do have.
If the club works with you to get the best deal, and is flexible on costs/points, then it can really work for you.
I think it's both JADF and Beefmeister on here who are also members of clubs.
