Bike or MX5 for hoon?

Decided I'm going to blow some serious cobwebs out over the Beacons tomorrow, but can't decide if I want to go two wheels or four...

What do you reckon fellow PHers? If you've got both and you're looking at both machines, which do you choose and why?

You'll have to get there really early if you take the MX5, there will be quite a lot of day trippers/caravans trundling around as its a bank holiday weekend.

Got to be bike.

Unless you're taking the really obscure roads - but then they're too narrow to really go for it in a car.

So, bike, take in the Abergwesyn and Aberystwyth mountain roads at silly speeds to really blow the cobwebs away. That's what I did last weekend.

Tough choice....you're freer and faster on a bike but you're wearing an almost airtight suit - in the car you can go with a t-shirt, the wind in your face and your arm hanging over the side in the wind.
Bike for adrenaline, MX5 for pleasure. You want to blow the cobwebs out, so I'm going with car.

Mx-5 with throttle bodies........... just had a pax seat in one on the way home from the pub/curry house with Identti... the is sound fking immense !

Trust me the ol' 5 is quick enough and can certainly provide a good amount of thrills on the limit, but twas always gonna be the bike tomorrow. This is despite me having put a thousand miles on it in France the other weekend.

I thought I'd put the question out there in GG rather than BB though to see the responses... interesting to see the majority of GGers would rather take a bike for a thrash than a car... are you all thinking about getting bike licenses now?!
