5 seaters suitable for 3 child family

Just looking for some advice as there must be others in a similar situation.

Basically im not really fancying a 7 seater.. the only one id consider in budget is the Audi Q7 (used) and although there are some decent deals to be had, compared to some 5-seat cars the options seem a little light. Plus there is the issue of no real boot if there are all 7 seats loaded.

Anyway my 'problem' for finding a 5 seater is that my child seat combination is as follows:

4 year old in a booster seat (just the base)
18mth old in a front facing bulky seat
6 month old in a rear facing first seat... soon to go into a front facing bulky seat.

I can just about fit them in the current car but its a ridiculous squeeze as the middle seat isnt quite big enough... so im wondering if any of the 'bigger' barge cars offer more space at the back?

Im thinking of and been researching a bit:

BMW 7 series
Mercedes S Class
Jaguar XF

Ive also looked at some of the bigger 4x4s that are 5 seater... again in no order

BMW X5
VW Touareg
Porsche Cayenne

Im hoping for all tips/hints as possible and anyone in the same / similar situation any tales or warnings would be much appreciated.

People often recommend the Multimac seating system.

Discovery 3 or 4. 3 individual seats in row 2 so can fit all child seats. Can also put one in row 3 when they get big enough to start fighting.
