Will kwik fit, fit shocks supplied by you?

Is it likely? All the garages are quoting about 2 weeks before they can fit them- surely kwik fit would do them for a few ££s?

Avoid this company as much as possible. From what is writen on here they're a deadly bunch. There was that story of one of the places joy riding a porsche which didn't end well.

None of the "chains" will fit parts supplied by the customer. Get out the yellow pages and ring round all the independants.

If you don't know what you're doing, have a go at fitting them youself.

The results will be better than KF's attempt.

I fitted four shocks and springs to my E36 BMW in half a day, and I'm not a particularly experienced car mechanic. With the weather we are having at the moment, there isn't really an excuse not to.

From the stories I've heard my dog could do a better job! Mate of mine worked there for about 6 weeks and quit as he couldn't stand the customer service!

Fancy a drive to Stoke and I'll do them for a bit of cash. Shouldn't take more than an hour or two.

That's actually rather good if you're fitting 4 shocks.

£20 a corner is a really good deal. If just one of them has a rusted mounting or is a pain to get off the garage will be working at a loss I promise you.
