12 months of car maintenance - what's your figure?

Over the last few months I seem to have racked up a mountain of bills for the car and I decided to get out the receipts and get Excel sweating. Well, turns out I was the one sweating.
My 52 plate V6 Golf has cost £2700 in the last 12 months and over £1200 of that since Feb! The only things I've spent money on are servicing, failing parts (love those alternators!) and tyres.
This got me thinking. With all the supercar owners (and not so super-car owners) on here, can you make me feel just a tiny bit better?
Only services, new parts and tyres please!

Mine varies wildly,
12 months of 3.0 shogun
£250 repairing split fuel pickup pipe from tank
£40 timing belt and DIY time
£40 water pump and DIY time
£50 in oils/fluids
1 month of 2.5 td Pajero
£90 Radiator
£100 belts/water pump
£80 Engine pulley
£50 new hoses (engine fire ruined them)
9 months Prelude
£150 new rear shocks
£100 2x ling long tyres
£300 timing belt and water pump
£20 three cans of gun gum
£380 cat back exhaust (gun gum has limits)
Hmmm...need a cup of tea now...
Having a similar problem with our MPV - in the last 12 months it's had

£170 Rear disks & pads
£200 Servicing
£50 DIY repair on alternator clutch thingy
£200 Middle & back exhaust boxes
£200 ABS sensor
£200 Electrical issues in drivers door

and that's just the things I can remember. I can't decide if it's a lemon and should be dumped ASAP or if we're running out of things to fix and chould now get a good few miles of reliable motoring. Car is a 2005 Alhambra diesel so no individual bill has been more than the car's worth, but the combined total isn't looking good. Mileage is about 10K PA, mainly school runs in town.

Evo VI, approx 5000 miles a year.
No tyres last year, thank god, but two services [every 6 months / 4.5k miles].
1st one was a "B" service, replace oil [£20], replace oil filter [£2], replace air filter [£5], replace AYC fluid [£5], various greases and lubes [already got], say a tenner [£10]
2nd one was an "A" service, replace oil [£20], replace oil filter [£2], replace AYC fluid [£5], various greases and lubes [already got], say a tenner [£10]
One underseal just before christmas, got the kit already, just needed to buy more sealer. [£20]
So a year of motoring for just under a ton, who said Evos were expensive!
Obviously you've got MOT [£40], tax [£205], insurance [£700] and Fuel [£1500ish] on top, but hey, who's counting.

If it makes you feel any better, which it most certainly won't, I've spent £3400 running a Noble M12 for a year including tax, insurance and fuel.

Christ!, what oil are you putting in that thing?. I don't think I could even wash out a used oil filter with only £2 worth of spirits.No tyres last year, thank god, but two services [every 6 months / 4.5k miles].

Seriously, post up some details of the parts/fluids you are using.

Service parts from Eurocarparts, services about every 3 months, Oil,Filters, Plugs, Etc. Nothing ever went wrong on it.
I think the worst my 1993 Celica has cost me was £80 for a pattern part Radiator and £12 for the coolant. Service parts from Eurocarparts, services about every 3 months, Oil,Filters, Plugs, Etc. Nothing ever went wrong on it. Other than that it's usually around £50 per year on service items, and tyres every few years.
