I've heard this used before on PH, and as I can't remember it I suspect it's not nice.......

The street I'm on is lined with several large trees. Its on the edge of a town and close to a large meadow thats home to lots of birds. Mainly seem to be wood pigeons though.

Spotless when parked yesterday? The layer of old grime down the side of that car is weeks old. I reckon it's been parked up for some time.

I live near an RSPB nature reserve...lots of Swans and Canada Geese, it's like being under mortar fire at times.

To recreate this :

Take 1 muffin (I used morrisons, but imagine any will do)
Remove case.
Place on car bonnet.
Leave for 1-2 hours.

Discovered entirely by accident when a flatmate forgot to pick it up off his car when leaving it.

Happens in Barnes all the time. Wash car, park car in Riverside Gardens, watch flock of starlings roost, close curtains, get up in the morning and start all over again. Turns deep purple when the blackberries are in season too.
