Hi All,
Didn't know where to post this so here goes.
I am at the very early stages of converting a VW transporter into a camper, I have been talking to a garage about tax classes. I was told that the factory converted 6 seater's were classed as cars taxable at £400 plus a year. This got me thinking if I buy a standard van at £200 a year and convert it do I need to inform the DVLA on change of use and how could this affect my tax class.
