Mercedes Benz SLK55 AMG - lock question

Hello folks,

Quick questions for MB aficionados. Does the SLK55 AMG have a door lock remote to press or does it use one of those
card thingies that unlocks it when the driver gets near to the car? In either case, does anything happen when the locks are activated, e.g. beeps, indicator flashes.

No Key-less option on the SLK, just the buttons on the ignition key, indicators wil flash once when unlocking & three times when locking (unless it's the other way around )
