Shutlines look incredibly tight, looks like a quality car generally. Amazing strides have been taken by the Korean car industry in recent times.
Yes, because the majority of the people who are behind things like design and handling are now mostly Europeans (with a couple Americans too) who formerly worked at BMW, VAG and GM, to name a few.Edited by Blackpuddin on Friday 10th May 10:18
Mentioned already but the Throttle House review is very good.

Huge car, tiny boot / no storage. Pretty st.
I just collected my kid from school. School bag, sports kit bag, laptop bag, a double bass and a bass guitar. We managed ok.

Jesus Christ! I reckon the boot in my 370Z Roadster has more room in it than that!
Are EVs just one absolutely massive compromise? They definitely seem to be to me for sure.
Remember that the Ioniq 5 always gives the impression of being Golf-sized in photos. It's not cavernous but 480L isn't tiny either, even if it's less than the non-N's 527L. The dual motor setup means you lose the frunk too.Are EVs just one absolutely massive compromise? They definitely seem to be to me for sure.

It really is bigger than it looks on pictures. You might recognise that effect, that (aspects of) a car is different in real life than on internet. You'd be wise not to dismiss cars based on teh internetz with all it's "experts". And you even have a frunk with 57l that has space left after the granny charger is put in there, no front engine ICE has that and any ICE with a frunk has a ridiculous or no trunk Are EVs just one absolutely massive compromise? They definitely seem to be to me for sure.
I live in a tourist village. I regularly see cars with a roof box. I regularly see tourists Ioniq 5's. I never see an Ioniq 5 with a roof box or luggage trailer.

I assume the cable and accessories tray under the false floor in the boot is still there?dave_s13 said:

I'm going to give that a watch now. I do like to moan about EVs as most of you know, however they definitely still interest me though in some ways, especially the really fast ones. https://youtu.be/JVwfEOh0KBI?si=n7A5SjybooeQJBil

I might even change my opinion on the size of the boot as well once I've watched it!
