Hi, I am a newbie and looking for some advice.
I am buying a 997 2S but it doesn't have a phone kit. I use i-phone. The garage has offered to fit a 'Gateway system for i-phone'.
Anybody got any experience? Any good? How much should I pay?

Isn't that just the Dension thing?

Can't help, aside from previous experience with Dension (all good btw!) - I took out my PCM (996) and fitted a proper stereo biggrin

the 997.1 (the one you are buying) doesn't have bluetooth offering from Porsche and to retrofit the official phone module (which means you stick your SIM in the dash) is very expensive.

The Dension Gateway module allows bluetooth functionality from the head unit, and uses all the OEM functions.

Look it up on YouTube. I've not got one yet, but it looks pretty smart!
