CREAKING FRONT END 996TT

Hi all just spent a fair bit of money refreshing the front suspension on my 996tt replacing both front lower control arms and track control arms hoping to eliminate a creaking coming from the front end, positive is the creaking has now gone from outside and steering feel is much better/sharper, but there is still a creaking coming from around the front of the dash im thinking maybe top mounts?

Any ideas.

Front top mounts is very common.
Quite easy to inspect visually.

Ok how do i visually inspect? will give it a try first thing in the morning. cheers for reply.

Does sound like top mounts, if car is jacked up you should be able to shine torch up and potential see the rubber of the top mount starting to split away from the steel components of the the mount, if this can be seen this is usually a sign of replacement needed
