OK I need some help. Good friend of mine has a 993 Turbo.

I am not going to go into the ins and out of it but he needs to know how many 993 Turbo's in jet black with turbo S vnts where made? Right hand drive too.

Any ideas how we could find out?

Thanks

James

Anyone could spec the vents. Therefore I can't see how you'd obtain any reliable build numbers.

But it won't be many.

Jet black?

It may well be a single figure, but I don't see any relevance. As said, you could spec the S vents on a standard Turbo so I don't see any effect on values, if thats what you are interested in.

There is no Jet black unless its a PTS.

I watched Columbo at the weekend, so I'm guessing your friends car with Turbo vents has been pulled for being involved in something criminal but it wasn't him, so now you're looking for a list of identical cars? idea

Ah see now I watched Kojak instead of Columbo and I reckon someone had their car nicked and possibly used for something unsavoury and may or may not have been 'rung/cut&shut' and the BiB now have it in custardy and the OP's mate is having trouble convincing the BiB that its his motor.

Its not clear what you are asking but it seems like you are trying to persuade the Police to return a car that they have in their possesion on the grounds that it may be unique?

I'm sorry, but this will not work and nor should it.

Where built? I think all Porsches were built in Germany -- still are -- Zauffenhausen mostly.
