What is the quality of french fuel and what should I use when I am in france for my 996t?

Same as everybody else's petrol. Slightly higher garlic content. You can always use the internetty to locate RON98 garages and plan your route in detail.

Has been known to cause randomly jumpy throttle response, more prevalent in green cars.

95 or 98ron are readily available. I would change my fuel filter more regularly though, seen quite a lot blocked here for some reason.

Using it will turn your 996TT into a Renault. If you lucky a Clio, otherwise a battered old R21. Beware.

Typically all the motorway services have 98 RON - but you pay more at the motorway services as per the UK. Outside that sometimes you can struggle to find 98 RON, so never leave it to the very last minute so you have a bit of flexibility.

I find it in almost all supermarkets and petrol stations. Never use the stuff our selves, diesel van and car. Next time I go into town I will check now you've said that.
