Following the recent thread regarding the Edition9 paddle shift option for Tiptronic equipped cars, I sent a spare manual wheel and Tiptronic loom connector off to Andy at Edition9 to have a pair fitted.

The wheel was returned to me within a few days but was still in need of a re-trim due to excessive leather wear over the years. Southbound Trimmers were able to supply some genuine Metropole Blue leather and Matt at JD-Trimming completed the re-trim using silver-grey stitching to match my Arctic Silver paint work.

The wheel arrived back today and the results are fantastic. Not only has the re-trim transformed the look and feel of the wheel, but the paddles are perfectly placed for up/down shifts and look really nicely integrated into the OE architecture.

Here are some pics of the wheel pre and post installation:

Peter, that looks good!
Would be interested to know how much has it cost you to date, as my son is contemplating getting his done!
Here's a pic of mine which was done by DCT Motorsports in California. Black with silver stitching. May be a little thicker than yours and has flat bottom.

I like the look of yours too. Interesting to see the pics side by side as it were, the paddles look identical.

For the record....wheel was around £200, paddles were £399 fitted and re-trim was around £220 including the leather.
