Manual 996 Turbo S Manual - thoughts
Discussion
Hello All,
Does anyone know the car below, advertised by Gmund cars?
I like the colour and the interior is different and growing on me. Is this a special order interior and exterior paint?
Natural brown interior and Olive black exterior ??
Any help appreciated, it is above my £40k Turbo S manual budget but the mileage is low and it is a cabrio???????
Your thoughts please?.....it would be my weekend, long-term keeper.

just to echo that said by G996TT, I test drove a sand beige interior 997T last summer and the reflection in the window was quite a bit. There's discussion elsewhere where some say 'not a problem' through to 'had to sell the car as it was too distracting'. Probably a personal thing, check for it if you go for a drive.
I can see the point about a lower volume limited edition car maybe keeping it's value better - but at the end of the day a water cooled Turbo is never going to be a GT2/GT3 and if you are paying top top dollar to start with I am struggling to see the appeal.
I paid only slightly more than that for a manual 2009 Turbo with PCM3 and some great options. Granted the mileage was much higher, but I strongly believe a regularly used car becomes more reliable than an aging garage queen! AND I am happy to use it as a daily car without panicking about it - meaning slightly more depreciation in exchange for much more use
Just my 2P

Thanks for the info guys.
I want a limited edition 911 Turbo S and this seems to fit bill, except a little pricey! I also want to mitigate against major depreciation.....as it will be a weekend car.
Chocolate, was the car "like new"

Polarised sunglasses get rid of 90% of the glare problem from the light coloured dash. Top down. Mirrored polarised aviators. Beige jumper and slacks to go with the interior with optional beige loafers and socks. Happy days.
As others have said, 997 will be a better car for that money.
