(No I'm not talking about the PFJ)

I've had a front splitter on order from Porsche for over 2 months now and I'm starting to get a bit annoyed that the item seems to be like rocking horse poo, does anyone know anywhere that might actually hold one in stock?

997.2 GT3RS

thanks!

I don't, but I'd check availability on the Cup item if you can get the part number (OPC don't usually have the motorsport parts catalogue to be able to look it up, but can quote price and availability on any part number).

i happen to speak to them this week about the availability of splitters and they seemed bemused that the OP was having trouble obtaining one?
May be def worth giving them a call as I am told they are the main Porsche centre in the UK.

On another note can anyone tell me how the splitters on a Gen 1 are fixed and how easy are they to change.

Hmm, its Porsche Reading that are sitting on my order, chased them yesterday and they said they chase it with Porsche in Germany every week. Tried JZM but they are more expensive than Porsche and also have no stock. Any other ideas anyone?

Only last week Matt at Fearnsport got me a standard and cup splitter within 4 days of placing order.

30 secs if you have already removed the 2 plastic screws within the wheel arch, if not 1m 30secs. Basically there are 2 plastic screws in the front of the wheel arch which need to be removed. Them you just give the splitter a gentle pull starting at the wheel arch and work your way around the car and the plastic tags just pop out. See photos on page 2 of this thread to give you an idea of what your dealing with.

Oh, I am picking up my car next week from Reading and have requested a spare splitter Gen 1 if that makes a diffrence.
Have been lead to believe no problem getting that part.

What's the difference between Cup & 'road' versions of this splitter...?

Thanks!

Cup version is deeper and I think a bit more flexible. There are also two versions, with and without air holes for the Cups
