No real problem at all.
I've read about the potential fog light switch problem (as you have to pull the switch out behind one of the bars) however I've had two cars and both were fine with the switch.
By the way, if it bothers you it takes 30 minutes to take out the front cage and store it in your loft
Some would say that you really should not be driving with a front cage and no helmet.

It's an oft trotted out snippet of advice, yet [i]every[i/] FIA WRC driver does just that on the road sections between stages .....
I do tend to use the harnesses for any spirited driving which should reduce the risks in a low speed event....in a high speed event you are probably on thin ice.
Front section of cage in 6RS is absolutely no bother at all. Different matter in 997.2RS. The design is quite different between the two with 7.2RS having a triangulated reinforcement that runs from the roof bar where it transitions to the A-post bar, to 3rd of way down the A-post bar. It is much more intrusive, and obstructs vision in passenger side mirror, you can't use sun visors etc. Believe front cage in 7.1RS is very similar in design to that of 7.2RS so presumably same issues.

+1 completelyJust removed a 7.2RS front cage today. Due to the double bar front post it hinders the passenger mirror. Plus getting in and out of the car feels more like climbing into the Dukes of Hazzards' General Lee! You end up hanging onto the bars like a monkey

...a lot more metal in this one - double A pillar bars, side bars and an extra diagonal roof bar!
