Where to buy front lip spoiler for 997 turbo
Discussion
As the title says really, mine is scuffed and the paint cracked in one place so I might replace.
Local body shop will paint but just want to know where is the cheapest place to buy an OEM part
Are they about £150 or is that wildly optimistic?
Thanks

OPC and they are around the price you are hoping. I replaced the one on my old 7TT.

OPC price
"satin black" - £125 + vat (seems ok)
same but with primer (if it is painted which mine is) - £551 + vat (what the holy f
k?)
I am going to get my local body shop to paint it, they will probably charge about £100, so what on earth makes up the difference?
OPC prices are usually the same as the Deroure link I posted in my initial reply - £125.74 plus vat. If you have PCGB membership you can get 10% off at OPC - or just ask for a discount "satin black" - £125 + vat (seems ok)

Sounds like you may have the aero kit front splitter. It is a different shape to the standard black plastic unit and works in conjunction with the large aero rear wing. If you don't have that wing you can just buy the cheaper black splitter and paint it. If you do have the rear wing, you're stuck with the expensive one as both are designed to work together."satin black" - £125 + vat (seems ok)

The splitter is a push fit in the PU and held in place with a Torx screw at either end.
No aerokit fortunately. I had the standard front lip, side skirts and rear bottom lip painted as I much prefer the colour coded look.
Downside is you have to accept the front lip will get scuffed occasionally and it's more of a pain to replace and repaint rather than just replace - but worth it for me
