Enforced use of 95RON, what to do when I go back to 98+RON?

Currently in Italy with my 993 and the vast majority of petrol stations only have 95RON fuel. When I get back to civilisation (
) and have 98 available, do I need to do any kind of ECU reset or similar so the engine can get the full benefit of 98 again?
I ask as I seem to recall that for 996s an ecu reset was required in order for the engine to make full us of the good stuff as it would not "unlearn"....

Firstly, use 99 not 98 (Shell or Tesco is 99).
The car will learn the higher grade fuel, but over a period of time, if you'd prefer to have the adaptions reset so it'll expect the best fuel and perform accordingly then get yourself to somewhere with full Porsche diagnostics.

A 964 will retart the ignition on lower fuel grades, it then takes a long time for that to reset. However disconnecting & re-connecting the battery forces it to go into 'learn-mode' - I'm not sure if the same is true for a 993; however it's probably a quick enough test short of booking it in for diagnostics?
