C2 exhaust sound - is this normal?
Discussion
Good morning chaps
Being only 5 weeks into the ownership of my first Porsche, I'm still getting to grips with things. One comment that I've now had 3 times from different people is 'Your exhaust is blowing' which is annoying but also creating mild paranoia. Basically the exhaust sounds exactly how I would expect it to sound (gorgeous!) apart from in just 1 circumstance:- when the engine is hot and I'm giving gentle revs to park up it does indeed sound a bit 'loose/deep/blarty/"wet f4rt"' for want of better words. Is this normal for a C2? Absolutely fine otherwise. It's always done it, and neither of the 3 dealers it's been associated with commented on it, including the MOT tester.
