991, 981 recall re front trunk lid

Notified today that DVSA are requiring Porsche to recall certain 911, Boxtser and Cayman for the front boot latch - the "catch bar on the front lid lock upper part was not riveted to the mounting plate according to specifications. The durability of the upper part lock cannot be guaranteed ... and the risk of the lid (ie bonnet) opening unintentionally cannot be ruled out."
