I Have looked at a 997-4wd and was amazed at how small the baggage cavity was, someone passed comment that the 2wd has a larger area similar to the ealier 911's is this true please.

Yep - IIRC 130l vs 110l - couldn't find the numbers in my manual. One of the reasons I went for 2WD over 4WD - I've been really impressed at the amount of kit I can fit in the boot and back seat.

It's 105 versus 135 litres. It's an appreciable difference when travelling.
