Shouldn't this be illegal?

I find this sort of car fascinating. And I really mean that.
I would love to understand the man maths that caused someone to take what was probably perfectly good Carrera 3.4 and spend an HUGE amount of money on cosmetic changes that yes, to my eyes are "challenging" but I can imagine that some would like it (well maybe).
This must have taken real commitment with new bumpers, THAT wing, new lights, new wheels (yes probably bendy replica Gen 2 997 Turbos) and then got it all painted. And the result, a hideous, almost unsaleable Frankenstein of a car.
You have to love it!

"People" don't know the model details across 911s so taking a 911 and glueing on bits of GT2/3/turbo etc together with bespoke bits of tat transform it into something many people may think is a limited racing super "I have huge balls" type of car.
This kind of spend is money well spent for someone who wants to impress people outside the chipshop and pub and who doesn't give a hoot about how fast it goes or if it's fun to drive or not.
Loud exhausts are similar mentality form ahead of function. Most on here wouldn't understand it

I think we all understand it very well! We were all 12 once. This kind of spend is money well spent for someone who wants to impress people outside the chipshop and pub and who doesn't give a hoot about how fast it goes or if it's fun to drive or not.

Makes a lot of sense, but still takes a big financial commitment that would allow them to simply buy a more impressive car, but as you say, not as chip shop impressive.
