Why's 991 GT3 Owners Vol 2 been deleted ??

Despite some obsessive-compulsive-deviation on values in recent months I found it pretty useful and really liked the wealth of information and access to fellow ownership expériences..

And I have to say it was the main reason why I didnt give in when waiting for the car for the best part of 18 months...

So any reason moderators ?

I think this may have been my fault - I'm really sorry .

I put a post on after the Vanuatu Cyclone Pam disaster - do you remember Macca , well it turns out he lives there and he set up a charity donation site to collect money for the locals who lost everything - well I posted a link to it and after this the site was shut down - maybe a co incidence but after this I looked at the posting rules and saw that this was a no no - I wrote to PH a couple of times to ask for my post to be deleted so the thread could be re instated but unfortunately I got nowhere . If anyone remembers Macca and want to donate to help him , then please PM me and I'll forward you the link - will not be posting it on here again . Sorry again for doing this - I also found it a great read - well most of the time

If you see the other thread, it was due to technical problems. It'll be back once they sort it, but locked. The replacement is running.

I know that's the word on the street - but I posted and then checked my post 2 mins later and , bang , it had gone - I've been in hiding ever since for fear of fellow poster abuse - had a beer / epiphany moment last night and fessed up -

I doubt that was the cause as a Moderator could have just removed your post and left the thread.
Equally if a Moderator felt the thread had gone off course he could have deleted multiple posts right back to the point where the thread was acceptable.
