Hi everyone, I've been looking to upgrade my Porsche stereo unit the CDR23 with Bose amp. I thought I'd done my home work, I purchased an ISO harness (CT20PO02) that is recommended to post the gap between the CDR23 and the Kenwood system, I also got the antenna adapter and was ready to go. I connect everything together and nothing ! I spoke to the technical department at nexxia where I purchased the harnes, they informed me I need to connect the yellow Amp plug to the res harness and connect the blue wire to the electric aerial wire so the amp has power, I do this and still nothing.
Anyone out there had the same or similar problem ? I'll keep on searching, I'm sure something's wrong but what ? Thanks in advance to any help I may receive.

Regards
Pete

I think the Bose amp needs a very expensive interface box to work with an aftermarket head unit.

I've been told the same by a local audio specialist. Quoted £300 for the interface unit.

You do try contacting EuroMotorSpeed and see if they do the wiring seperately
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2002-PORSCHE-996-CARRERA...
See their comment "(97-02 Boxster or 99-02 996 Carrera w/ PCM please contact us first prior to purchasing - different wiring harness configuration required for use with factory amplifier."
