Hi guys, hoping someone can shed some light on a little problem I have with my 997 turbo pdk.

On full boost, occasionally it will feel like I have wheel spin when I definitely do not have wheel spin. Anyone had this before?

First thoughts are either a boost leak, clutch slip or gearbox problem. There are no warning lights on the dash and the car drives fine in normal driving.

Thanks,
Andrew

If it was manual I would say clutch slip, not sure about PDK though.

VTG actuator seizing up? Quite common fault on 997 Turbo and occurred on mine last year. Fixed FOC by OPC, just needed some greasing.

Can you explain a bit more - is it low or high speed, when changing gear, round corners, etc?

The sensation when the various systems - ptv, psm, and ptm are operating can feel like drive is 'interrupted' for split second opposed to actual wheel spin?

I notice it mostly in 2nd, third gear at around 5000rpm. It feels as though the drive is interrupted like you say. Its a similar sensation to wheel spin as it feels as though the car is losing grip due to the way the power is interrupted. It doesn't make a huge difference but its something noticeable and rather annoying.
