Turbo bumpers on 2007 997 C4S Cab, factory???

Hi,

Just looking at a 2007 997 C4S cab and it has turbo front and rear bumpers and wheels. Owners says they were factory but never seen it as an option before? Can anyone enlighten me further??

I doubt the bumpers were factory options. They might be OEM but I'd hazard a guess that they were retrofitted. I think that the turbo alloys could potentially have been optioned though. Any pics?

They certainly look genuine, however the fact that the car has aftermarket LED rear lights would make me think that they were probably added later. Assuming that they are genuine and have only been changed for cosmetic reasons (rather than accident damage) it wouldn't bother me. FWIW I think it improves the look...

Arh, I thought the rear lights were the turbo ones, are they not genuine?

No. They're aftermarket lights made by a German company called Dectane, designed to mimic Gen 2 rear lights. (The Gen 2 LED lights don't fit a Gen 1 car without replacing the rear bumper).
