Gone and done it, 991 arrived yesterday

Dear All,

After much deliberating I picked up a 2013 991S from OPC Bristol yesterday. It seemed a good price for a 2013 car, the same as many 2011s.

It has BOSE, heated seats, pdk, special headlamps, matt wheels, sports chrono, PCM, folding wing mirrors etc.

No PSE but I have to say it seems very vocal even without it, much much louder than my old 997 (also without). I was thinking about putting the PSE in, but at this rate I reckon it's fine without... Is it THAT different?





So, should I save for the PSE?

Thanks! apparently the colour (which after, Nordic Gold Cayman and Aqua Blue 997.2 is kind of sedate for me!) is the reason it was priced like cars two years younger in silver and black (yawn)!

Re the parking, actually after some practice, it's possible with only one reverse! (it helps that the bum can go over the flowerbed, otherwise it would be impossible!

Congrats looks fantastic in red. Definitely get PSE, it is throaty and pops and bangs too, makes a huge difference and I love it on my 991C2S

Can't add anymore to what has been said but it does look fantastic in red and I had PSE on my old 991 C4S and it was brilliant.

This is almost identical to my new car other than mine is in white. Purchased about 4 weeks ago from Swindon OPC. I had them fit the PSE and I would say its a definite must have, the sound is just superb especially when in sports plus mode and the crackling and popping it makes as it runs down through the gears is amazing!

If you happen to be near Swindon at any point you are welcome to come and have a listen!
