Anyone got a rear muffler delete system or otherwise available?

Ill buy the fabspeed tailpipes but just checking whats out there

Big topic on 911uk about this but yes.

I have had straight through from the CAT and it was epic but low down torque suffered. Now have to small bake bean silencers instead.

I had a fabspeed centre muffler delete on my 997.2 GT3 and suffered no losses that I noticed but I think the 996 is different.

Where did you get your system from?

the 997 has '4' silencers whereas the 996 has 2. Both excluding Cats.

Had a good fabricator knock mine up for me, the original straight through he copied the pipework as such from the oem so it looped around and out and the second one i showed him a picture of what i wanted and he semi-replicated that, it the cans in the pic had 3" wide by 6" length where as ive got 4" wide and 4" long or somethign like that i.e. pic was long and thing, mines short and stubby.

if your in the facebook 996 gt3 group, theres some dyno comparisons from the day at SRR of mine vs mani/cat/expensive backboxes/remap. Its also on 911uk and might be on here. I cant remember the torque graphs but pub figures put me at 389 bhp vs the 396(?)bhp of the other one.

Mine can be manufactured for around £500 from a shop, maybe more or less
