Thoughts please on front OEM discs and pads vs. the Pagid package available at around £250 for the parts.

Car will be used on road, and almost certainly never taken to a track day.

No problem whatsoever for your intended use drybeer. Be wise to change the fluid at the same time

Road pads for road use, if you find yourself on track a bit then RS29s (front) RS4 (rear) but be prepared to deglaze often otherwise the squeal will piss you off!

My wife recently replaced the discs and pads on her 997 4S and went with Pagid set up. Within 1000 miles she had judder from the front. Discs checked and out of true enough to be replaced FOC. Same happened with next set, replaced this time with Porsche OEM discs (just paid difference in price and Pagids sent back to Pagid).

Rear Pagid set up has been fine. No problem with judder from the fronts now.

Just our experience but enough hassle to persuade me to pay extra - for front discs anyway.
