Does anyone think tanned interior is too much? And doesn't go well with Black body?
I bought my first Porsche a few years back and some knowledgeable people on PH helped me with their posts!
Thanks in advance.
I think as a combo tan interior would work well enough with a black exterior, but a tan interior on a Turbo I'm not so sure as a little pipe & slippers is it not.I bought my first Porsche a few years back and some knowledgeable people on PH helped me with their posts!

Saw a 991 C2 this morning at the Bolton OPC with a tan interior & although it didn't look bad, it was certainly a bit marmite for a sports car. More so as this car had a metallic brown exterior too.

A good friend of mine who owns a lot of high end sports cars said to me "Its nice if you can live with the tanned interior" Im disappointed its being hated on as I quite like it haha! Im in my mid 30's though... so don't want to be buying a sports car and being accused of being a grandad! haha!Saw a 991 C2 this morning at the Bolton OPC with a tan interior & although it didn't look bad, it was certainly a bit marmite for a sports car. A mate of mine in 2002 ordered a Lapis blue Boxster with tan leather, was very classy, not "granddad" just reserved and cool. These things come in and out of fashion a bit I think.
Personally, not sure though about black paint and brown leather - bit like wearing black socks with brown shoes, for me it just clashes a bit.
I've had a couple of Porsches with "brave" leather - red natural leather and brown natural leather. They do hit you quite hard the first few times you're in the car but personally I always liked that they were different. In terms of resale it might put someone off but equally you only need one person who loves it and is really looking for that combo in the sea of the usual colours.
I'd say if you like it go for it. If you are speccing new then good for you and get what you want, don't worry about your mates or resale. If you are buying used and it's an unusual colour spec it might even help you get a deal.
Sounds like the MMA is going well if you're trading up? Hope so.

I don't think it's so much a hated colour, just one that gets a bit of getting used to over say Black or Cream/Grey. My M5 has a Sakhir Orange interior & the paintwork is Monte Carlo Blue. Wasn't sure it would work when i ordered it but love it now. My primary colour combo for the Turbo S is currently Sapphire Blue paintwork with Graphite Blue/Crayon 2 tone interior.Oso said:

Ha you remembered me! You have a better memory than me! If only MMA paid that well! I work in finance too. I did win my last fight back in August though!!Personally, not sure though about black paint and brown leather - bit like wearing black socks with brown shoes, for me it just clashes a bit.

I had a second gen KN with a two tone tan interior - it was beautiful !
seriously loved it - and I thought I was a black only person.
chocolate on the top (ie dash) which prevented reflections probs, and was soo smooth.
Only drawback was the transfer of dye from jeans -had to keep on top with clening it to prevent staining.
When I traded it in I went for a Panamera in yachting blue with a tan interior again. (no wood inserts though ! - a step too far)
looked great
if you like it,go for it
