My car has decided that it is due an interim service, however although the car was PDI'd in Feb '14, I only actually took delivery in July '14, due to the 'stop-sale' issues and subsequent replacement engine.

As I never took delivery of the car in the February, I assume that the relevant date is July '14 (and hence the interim service should be due in July this year) but I thought I'd see whether anyone on here had the same issue and how this was resolved with their OPC?

Last thing I want to do is get this wrong and screw up the warranty!

Cheers,

Sidicks

I think the best bet would be to check with your supplying OPC Mr Sidicks

Am already doing that!

Just thought someone else might have had the same issue and share their experience...

It's due now , get it sorted. yes it sat around for a while but the cars 2 years old and is now due a service.
earlier is always better than later any way.

The car had an oil change in July last year.

The OPC have confirmed that the key date for warranty & servicing purposes is the date of registration I.e. July '14, so the service will be due in July '16.

I had a letter stating service due but was obviously to early for it and confused due to the recalls etc etc, delaying my 2015 GT3. Even on their systems, when I gave my registration plate to them, they had the guys name down that cancelled his slot to then make me fortunate in getting one. Just poor admin updating.

This would seem to imply that they neglected to tell the cars ECU at the time?
