Make a fun thing for occasional track days, wouldn't it? Miles are up there, but at the right price you'd not be too worried about tracking it.

Thats a difficult car to value. It will have a very small market.
Funnily enough I was chatting to a fella at a kart track a few months ago. He was looking for a 4GTS manual. I said, "good luck with that". I think he is a PHer, so perhaps he will see it.Edited to change "catting" to "chatting". Neither of which is the same as dogging.

Probably the highest mileage 2011 911 out there.......strange spec in a way with ceramics but basic placcy dash and no extended leather.....arguably not the best colour and 4wd now not quite as desirable as 2wd but quite rare manuals now drawing more £ than pdk.
Would say it is too expensive with the mileage......£45k tops retail.
I would wait for a more sensible mileage ex Porsche finance at BCA Nottingham......far better value and most are proper one owner stock even though they inevitably trade over book.

I think that spec is exactly what would appeal to someone. As for leather dash, it serves no useful purpose. The colour is a personal thing.Would say it is too expensive with the mileage......£45k tops retail.

Why would Porsche put desirable cars through am auction, rather than retailing them? Not saying you're wrong, I am asking why.
I am not in the market for one by the way.

Nope, the UK GTS (and the 997.1 GT3 for that matter) had a plastic dash and interior panels as standard, unlike the mainstream 997s which had leather. When I bought my old 997 GT3 I was glad to see the original owner had spent a small fortune on extended leather for everything that wasn't alcantara, which made it feel much plusher inside - it was very much a comfort spec car, before everyone cries sacrilege! One of the main niceties of the extended leather in a GTS is that if you kept the alcantara seats, you also got things like the lower dash in alcantara instead of plastic. It would be an essential for me, but it would be boring if we all liked the same thing :-)

No, I think you've got the default interior, which is leather and alcantara on the seat facings, and plastic everywhere else. I wonder if the rear seats are leather, or if they're replaced by "I can't believe it's not leather"-style vinyl? Can't say I've ever looked that closely.
There's a version which has a leather dash, door tops and rear trim, with alcantara/leather seats, and alcantara lower dash and door panels, which would be my preference for a GTS. There's also a version which is leather everywhere that a Carrera S would have leather, which sort of starts to defeat the point if you ask me. Then there's the dreaded options list where you could specify leather sun visors, air vents, and probably even leather mud flaps knowing Porsche :-)

Okay. It's perfectly good as far as I am concerned. I have had other 911s with more leather, but they were no more pleasant to be in. If I had placcy seats I think I'd be less impressed. There's a version which has a leather dash, door tops and rear trim, with alcantara/leather seats, and alcantara lower dash and door panels, which would be my preference for a GTS. I've got the Alcantara interior and anything that isn't Alcantara is leather in there.
The options ticked on the spec sheet that relate to leather are below, the full dash must have been standard?
Door Panels in Leather Trim
Gear Lever gate in Leather Trim
Not the best photo and obviously I don't spend enough time putting stripes in my alcantara Chris.
