Cost to upgrade

Hi guys i would like to know peoples thoughts on the cost to upgrade from a 996 turbo coupe manual, to a 997 gts cab manual. Also am i right in thinking that they are liking rocking horse st?

I'd expect to add £30k, but could be nearer £40k. The vast majority will be PDK. Feels like more of them are 4 GTS, but I haven't done a count.

Im not too fused whether its 2 or 4wd. I thought mine might be worth £35kish

What particular spec are you wanting? If you aren't afraid of high mileage, than you could pick up a GTS for circa £50K.

I'm not that bothered by mileage as its a daily driver, spec wise I'm not sure what's standard/extra other than I'd like alacantra. Are pasm and Xenons standard?

Are there any particular things that are good to have but hard to come by? Sports seats would be nice as well.

Having a look on pistonheads tells me i should just stick with either a 2s or a 4s rather than the gts if i want manual. Some of them seem to be quite cheap tho, is £35000 for a 10 plate the going rate for a 997?
