996 cup advice
Discussion
Hi there,
Does anyone have any advice on where to source a decent 996 cup car? I have been monitoring racecarsdirect, autoscout, mobile.de and of course pistonheads but wonder if there are any other avenues PHers know about that I may have overlooked?
Thanks for any help you may be able to give.
Cheers

Try Motorsportads.com and also the websites for organisers of championships they're eligible for (such as Britcar maybe), and any teams that have run them (to try to find cars that may not be being marketed but where owners may be interested in selling (or could be persuaded if approached).
Good luck - what are you going to be doing with it?

Hi,Good luck - what are you going to be doing with it?
Thanks for that - I missed your one on racecarsdirect! Will be track daying for a year or so then racing hopefully - in what I'm not too sure yet.

Laurence Gibbs recently bought a 996 cup for track days and will be taking it on the RS day at Oulton Park on Friday. Would be worth having a chat with him to find out how he found his.
Thanks Steve, Hope you are well. I can't get to the RS day so is it best to contact him via PCGB forum? Or is he on here?
Cheers
