Glad I'm not the only one!
Flew up to Inverness yesterday and brought this the 500 miles home, a great way to bond with a new toy. Had spent a week with a C2S so sort of new what was coming and the time had come to scratch the itch properly!
Sold the idea to the wife on the basis that we could combine the merits of my 400bhp Jaguar and her rag top auto Z3 into just one toy. This Targa tip I eventually found sort of does what I had in mind
Needless to say, now she's actually seen/heard it, the Z3 could be staying on!
Great drive down past Loch Ness and Fort William then cross country through Galloway to pick up the M6. Impressive bit of kit and I already think I'm hooked.

Looks great that, always liked the targa. There's a simplicity to the 996 that makes the new stuff look very bloated and blingy. Congrats to the OP on the new car, I really miss open roof driving.
