Just got an email from my partner saying he's getting one of these.

It says "stay tuned for more" so assume its only a teaser at the moment. I told him to get his letter of intent in.

When asked where he was going to put it he replied "I'm not sure I'll build it, I might keep it in the box as an investment". He thinks there might be an overs market!

He's now fretting about the allocation process. At least we won't have to worry about stitching.

Art imitating life? A World gone mad!

Bugger, I searched for GT3 RS lego and got no results. Guess the GT3 buggered up my search.

Mind you, it looks nothing like the real car, so surely this is just for novelty value...

My wife bought 2 at £250 each

She sold one on eBay for £380 and I am thinking of selling the other one too!

There are some really dumb (or desperate) people if they're paying in excess of standard price given you can buy it from Lego now and they'll ship to you within 30 days.

laugh

It's a nice model but not for £250.

I bought lego GT3 RS for whichever one of the children gets the best school report this term. They've all rolled their sleeves up! Very expensive though when you think this Tamiya Model is the same money (inc kit itself, battery, charger and remote + servo) and you have just as much fun building it and painting it. Goes like the clappers too.

Also bought lego F40 last year for one of the kids last year. It was 40 or 50 quid! Also the lego techic F1 car but can't remember how much that was - pretty sure it was half the price of the GT3 RS!
