996 C2 Seat belt buckle in footwell

Hi guys,
Just purchased my new 52 996 C2 from Precision, some of you may have seen it for SOR in the classifieds, quick question, what is this seat buckle for?
The car has stock sport hard back created seats, included in the options list. But never seen this buckle before?

Will get round to doing a new car thread, but M030, PSE, Black on Black, LN IMS Bearing, 54,000m, she's pretty lovely!
