Spotted this little beauty at Knockhill yesterday. Absolutely stunning bit of kit.

Got chatting to the guys from Porsche, really decent lads who were keen to chat cars which was nice. It's car number 000/991, pre production model being used for press stuff this week.

A stunning parts bin special, great marketing, great profits for factory and 1st time owners. Looks - subjective.

I think I'd rather have a vanilla GT3, the RS has jumped the shark for me both in terms of width and wing size.

Wouldn't kick it out of bed! If I had the choice I'd be going for the red though.

I'll be getting mine in October but have to say the looks still leave me cold a bit - especially when it's standing next to an RS. On the upside, I recently had the chance to speak to Walter Röhrl about the car who said that it's not for the track (we all knew that already) but it is absolutely brilliant and the best fun he's had in years on A & B roads.

To me, that was good news, as I was getting "parts bin" feelings, too.
