Vf supercharger

Hi does anyone have any experience with the vf supercharger kits that fit on 997, are they any good, will it devalue the car. How reliable are they and has anyone got one fitted to their own car. Any help welcome.

Surely it would be way cheaper in the long term to just buy a 997 turbo? In fact they are appreciating!

VF Engineering are known pretty well in the BMW tuning world. I can't speak for the 997 kit, but from the research I did a few years back they had a good reputation.

I ditto Molly's comments though, you'd be better off cutting your losses and getting a 997 Turbo.

There's a guy on 911Uk I met running this on a 996 C2 with 450bhp and loves it. On the 997 3.8 I'd be concerned about accelerating bore scoring as this is inevitable on that particular engine. As others have suggested you'd be better off simply p ex for a turbo.
