Just went and bought a 997 4s 06.Always loved the look of the 997 and especially in red and a manual. The 19 inch wheels are a lovely touch to.
Think a GT3 rear spoiler will finish the look of nicely.

She looks absolutely stunning! congratulations. i presume you read all the bore scoring stuff prior to buying. you're sure to get reminded on here! What mileage has it got? Like the wheels... especially black with red. Just keep the oil and filter changed regularly, i do mine every 4k ish. Good luck with her!!

Thanks,it's done 50k and it's a manual.She has a good service history and then a specialist history with lots of invoices.
I have read all about the bore scoring and it's frightening. I have a years warranty with warranty direct up to the value of the car ,fingers crossed that will cover any failures.

Lovely car. If it goes pop, it goes pop. It very probably will not.

Thanks guys it's a great driving car . We had a good run last night and the handling is absolutely superb and the power delivery is also very good.
Hopefully I have no engine issues. It's a 06/06 so bigger ims apparently but bore scoring still possible?

I agree.... you can spoil a car that already looks good for what it is.
