997.2 Turbo engine start

My 997.2 TT has just developed a peculiar starting issue. Sometimes it will start immediately run for about 2 or 3 seconds and then stop. It might do this 2 or 3 times in succession, then on the 3rd or 4th attempt it will start and run perfectly normally.
Someone mentioned it could be intermittant HPFP issue, Appreciate any thoughts
