I've been with Mannings for a few years, but who are you all using these days with GT3RS? Any suggestions appreciated, rather than just renewing!

Many thanks

Just got 997.2 GT3 RS and insured it with ClassicLine. Good service and have used them for other cars for few years with agreed value policies. Cost about £1000 per year.

By the way nice and easy to get valuations from http://www.porschevaluations.com/

Thank you. Does that include Track Day cover? Yes...mad as it sounds I have no intention of letting it sit in the garage despite its value!

I want to drive mine on track too as it's begging for it! Classicline can provide track day cover but quick look at the docs and it isn't obvious so will call them tomorrow to make sure.

I'm with Classicline, & their policy offers six free UK track days, & they require at least two days notice. Any Euro circuits ('ring excluded) are £200 for each individual day & still require said notice...

I am looking at Classicline currently, they emailed to say...

"As you are a member of the Porsche Club GB, all of their UK organised events will be covered for Free - please give at least two days notice as we issue a seperate endorsement letter for each event.

Any UK Non-Club organised events, we will give 6 Free events (ATDO, FAEO or ARDS events only) in any policy year. - additional events are charged at £54.75

All EU Trackdays whoever organises them as long as acceptable (ATDO, FAEO or ARDS events only) can be covered at a charge of £200 per event per day

No trackdays are allowed within the first 14 days of cover."

NB: I don't know what FAEO stands for, anyone?

Manning policy includes any number of UK track days and £250 per Euro event organised by ADTO/recognised car clubs.

I think that carries organiser restriction, i.e. Goldtrack ATDO at Spa OK, but RSR Spa at Spa not OK. I need to clarify before my renewal end September

As others have noted you get up to 6 days a year and just need to notify 48 hours in advance. PEC and PCGB events are fine.

One thing to note though: Excess is 10% of value!

Classic Line Excludes the Nürburgring (for ATDO track days) , Manning includes it but its £500 for cars over 100k for any Euro circuit.

Would you mind sharing the valuation figure provided along with year/mileage/condition/spec - cheers
