991 Ducktail discolouring on the underside ?!

Hi,

Had my white C4GTS for about 8 months - had a new ducktail fitted on buying, but seems to be becoming discoloured on the underside (just about in-line with where the exhausts sit on either side), and am wondering if anyone else has something similar?

Looks like it's just dirty when looking, but you can't wipe it off - seems to be 'under' the lacquer or is somehow deeper than just being on the paint surface.

Probably more noticeable on white/bright colours, but am not sure if this is typical, or is a defect in the (newly painted and fitted on pick-up) paint on the duck.

Haven't seen this, but have you tried some APC or isopropyl alcohol to get rid of the contamination?

just checked mine mate and can't see any discolouring although mine in black.

I would take it back to OPC.
