Gen 2 carrera engines

Could anyone enlighten me as to gen 2 engines, I know there's no IMS, but do they suffer bore scoring or any other maladies. Thanks Mike

Beat me too it ! I was going to say the engines are faultless but there is always an out side chance of a random failure as there is with any engine even the mighty Mezger!
