Changing from 997 gt3 to 991 turbo s gen 1
Discussion
I'm thinking of changing from my 997 gt3 to a 991,turbo s.
Has anyone changed. I've had my gt3 for 4.5 years and love it. I not sure if I would miss the naturally aspirated engine. I know the turbo is newer and a lot faster but that's not a consideration to me. Always fancied a turbo. Would I regret the change. Plus I would need to add 30 to 40k to upgrade.
Any thoughts?

I think you should have a sit down and make a list of what you like/dislike about the GT3. Once you have done that, see if the 991 will cover BOTH sides of the list. Has anyone changed. Have you spoken to an OPC to see if you can borrow a 991 Turbo for an extended test drive?

Honestly? I think you should sit yourself and slap yourself round the face Has anyone changed. I've had my gt3 for 4.5 years and love it. I not sure if I would miss the naturally aspirated engine. Just kidding.
I think the above poster makes a good point. I think you'll miss the steering response and feel, throttle response and feel and that Mezger engine - is yours a 3.6 or 3.8 GT3? (997.1 or 997.2)?
The turbo S is rip your face off fast, incredibly so and planted. But I wouldn't necessarily say it makes you want to get out of bed on a Sunday first thing and go for a hoon.
If it was a daily driver the Turbo S is a far better car to live with as the wall of torque is unbelievable and everything is more up to date.
It really depends on what you want out of your toy? I presume you'll hugely miss the interaction of 3 pedals also?
