Have a GTS on order with my local OPC.

Was due to be delivered 2 weeks ago.

I was informed a month ago, delivery was delayed as there are no GTS front bumpers available..

Contact this week between my OPC and Porsche Planning reveals the car to be built and parked up awaiting a front bumper. There is no timescale as to when the car will be fully built and all 911 GTS deliveries have ground to a halt for the same reason.

Is anyone else in the same boat / can shed some light on the matter or is there more to this? 😏

I've got one on order, its due to complete build in a weeks time. Haven't been told of any delay as yet so I'm hoping mine won't be affected - but I'm not able to collect it until early August so have a week or two to play with.

That is a bummer. Just to rub salt in the wounds mine left the factory on 1st June and we took delivery on the 16th. I can confirm it has a front bumper. Also. I can confirm it is definitely worth the wait.

It seems a number of cars have been arriving in May and June and all pretty much on time, so it seems strange that your bumper is missing unless you are having something special on the car (adaptive speed control?) or it is a special colour.

I picked one up this week it was manufactured at the end of May (pre-price increase). This was a dealer stock car. They also had another one that arrived early June that was supposed to be an April/May delivery but had been delayed due to Exclusive options.

I can't see a good reason for the OPC to lie to you but in your shoes I would be challenging them about the other people who seem to be receiving their cars while yours is delayed.

Many thanks for the very useful responses.

I will be asking my OPC what is going on as it seems out of sync with the experience of others.

Ask to see a screen shot of the OPC's order handling system....my OPC sales contact generally e-mails me a screen shot as an update on progress.
