996 Sport Seat height adjustment

You must be tiny! I thought mine were broken as they went down a bit and then stopped. But then I got another set and they're the same. My head is only an inch and a half from the roof - and I'm not exactly tall at 6 foot. I wish they had more adjustability actually - and that I could lift the steering wheel off my knees too...

I have the opposite problem, I wish they'd go lower! I'm 6'1 so hardly a giant, but I find the steering wheel too low, even with the seat on it's lowest setting.

You can fit the 987/997 seats in a 986/996 and they sit lower.

There's no way I can wear a helmet in mine (996 3.4 with sports seats). I'm currently fiddling about trying to satisfactorily fit a bucket seat to solve the problem.

Changing the steering wheel helped a lot, slightly smaller, and with an after-market boss you can add spacers to bring it closer to you. It just makes it a bit of a stretch to reach the indicator stalk !
