Ive had my GT3 now for 5 years and ive had a bit of a hinkering for a 991.1 Turbo S. Just wonderd if anyone has had an experience of the Turbo S or changend from a GT3 to a Turbo S.

Depends on what your 'use' for it will be.. 991.1 TS is a sorted well rounded car, but having driven a 991.2 TS the other week, it could of been any other 991 at normal speeds, and im not sure if, for me, a 991.1 TS would be enough of an experiance

Can't help you on driving experience, but they are certainly bloody fast - had one in front of me recently and 150 up to 280 is certainly was rapid (due to traffic no faster than that)
I think they look quite good too

How are you going to use it and what do you like about the GT3? Turbo S is much quicker in real world driving but is probably a bit inert after a GT3. That said if it's for daily use it's the better car...Sunday mornings I'd want the GT3 personally.

Totally my sentiments aswell, Turbo S is to polished, which myself coming from a 991.1 GT3 had the same idea, GT3 to Turbo S, but upon test driving it felt slightly numb afterwards, tbh, I felt I had more fun in a Macan Turbo! Which I have also just bought, well the Macan Turbo PP

I think you would regret it.
Turbo lacks the soul and character of the GT3 despite being very fast it doesn't leave you feeling anything.
A nice exhaust might change things a bit for it as it is a bit quiet.
I would say a 997.2 turbo S is more exciting that a 991.1 turbo S.

Shame Porsche don't make an existing turbo car apart from the GT2 RS, be good to see them do a normal GT2 for around £150k.
