so i picked up my C4S today after a 20 year wait......... im still grinning and ive been out of the car for 3hrs.

quick question, what should the oil pressure read when your on the motorway, at idle its about 2.5 and at motorway speeds its 5.

Sounds about right, if you put the ignition on just make sure the needle doesn’t go up as they are fairly common to go and should just sit nicely at 0.

day 2 and ive just come back from another QUICK drive, it just gets better. And for those asking its a Manual. I spent ages looking for a 2S when i shifted my attention away from the 996 C4s, but just couldnt find one that worked for me. This came along for the right money and has full OPC and all MOTs, just had a new clutch and is standard apart from a stainless sports exhaust.

Car is a gen 1. OP has now stated it's a manual, but if it was an auto it'd be a tiptronic. PDK didn't appear until the gen II.
